Season 2 of Building Our Bundle is about learning to connect with the various aspects of ourselves in order to build skills and tools to engage in our healing journeys. The program runs through weekly online virtual sessions where we share experiences, learn teachings, and practice mindfulness skills.
Welcome to week 1 of Building Our Bundle! This week we are sharing our approaches for connecting with ourselves. Knowing and loving yourself is a critical first step in building relationships with others and with all of creation. Follow along as we share a mindfulness practice to connect with ourselves, listen to a teaching about the self as a bundle item, and engage in a self-reflection activity.
Welcome to week 2 of Building Our Bundle! This week we are sharing our approaches for connecting with the land. Land is a resource that is available to us whenever we need it. As a caregiver, land provides for us and loves us unconditionally, but it might be hard to feel connected to land when we are stuck at home or unable to participate in ceremony because of COVID-19. Join FOPT mentors Niki and Jessica as they lead us through a session in bringing Land into our bundle including a guided visualization practice, a teaching about land-based connections, and an activity to strengthen your connection with land.
Welcome to week 3 of Building Our Bundle! This week we are talking about one of our first bundle items we receive in this life: the body. We may not think of the body as a part of our bundle, but it is a sacred vessel that enables us to interact with the world. Connecting with our bodies is a way we connect with our ancestors and all of creation. Join Minoway Sinclar as she leads us through a guided mindfulness practice, an Anishinaabe teaching, and an activity that will support us in building our connection with our bodies as part of our bundle.

Our hearts give us the ability to feel, to connect to others, and to access knowledge held within our blood memory. As a bundle item, our heart requires care, compassion, and love. One way we access our heart is through our emotions. Learning to identify and regulate the intense emotions we have allows us to be more fully ourselves. Join us as we engage in mindfulness practice, teachings, and an activity to help identify and regulate emotions in order to bring our heart more fully into our bundle.

As a bundle item, the mind requires us to build balance between our heart, mind, and body. Learning to understand the power of our words allows us to be more aware of ourselves and our thoughts. Join us as we engage in mindfulness practice, teachings, and an activity to help balance your body-mind-heart connection and bring your mind more fully into your bundle.
Welcome to week 6 of Building Our Bundle! Over the past six weeks, we’ve been exploring all the different aspects of the self that help us on our journeys. We’ve explored teachings, skills, and activities to add to our bundles. This week we are exploring the spirit: the piece that holds it all together. Our bundle is our way to connect to the spirit world, to our ancestors, and to ourselves. While our items may act as physical tools to help us connect spiritually, our spiritual energy and power is within us all the time: we just need to learn to listen.
