Bridging the Gap: Indigenous Youth Leading the Path to Improved Mental Health Systems

is a comprehensive five-year initiative aiming to enhance mental health services for Indigenous youth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Led by the Centre for Grief and Healing (CFGH) and Finding Our Power Together (FOPT), it leverages collaborative efforts with stakeholders like the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto (DCGT) to address systemic challenges in mental health care. Central to the project are the voices and experiences of Indigenous youth, guiding research, development, and implementation of culturally responsive mental health solutions.
