Job Title: Indigenous Youth Mental Health Counsellor (Online)
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Location: Canada Wide - Online
Salary: Compensation is based on the number of clients, and payment will be through private or government insurance. Specific rates to be discussed upon interview.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Indigenous Youth Mental Health Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one therapeutic support to Indigenous youth experiencing mental health issues. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the social, historical, and cultural contexts that impact the mental well-being of Indigenous youth and will be able to deliver services online.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and inspirational Program Lead to guide and develop the Young Leaders Circle, also known as Oskatis Nigaaniiwemowin. This vital position will be at the forefront of empowering Indigenous youth aged 14-35 across Turtle Island, facilitating networking, training, cultural teachings, and organizational advising. The Program Lead will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, impact, and success of the Young Leaders Circle.

We invite a passionate and skilled Program Lead to spearhead the Orange Heart Club, a vibrant program aimed at children aged 6-12 that focuses on Indigenous cultures, traditions, and reconciliation. This part-time in-person role offers an opportunity to create meaningful and inclusive experiences for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth, guided by the symbol of truth and reconciliation, the Orange Heart.

Finding Our Power Together offers student placement opportunities for individuals interested in learning more about Indigenous communities, mental health, and not-for-profit work. We have worked with undergraduate and masters level students from the following fields of study: child and youth care, early childhood education, social work, nursing, and education students.
